iansheff 86 #1 Posted December 19, 2011 I have just been reading about a man who was made redundant and Tesco increased his car insurance £231. Tesco say that you do more miles when you are unemployed because of applying for jobs and going to interviews, but they will refund it if he gets a job although there is a £15 admin charge for each change. I would think if people are unemployed they are less likely to use the car for short journeys to save money. This guy has used Tesco for about 10 years and does his shopping there, if it was me I would be saying bye bye Tesco. These companies are so greedy, they ask you how many miles you do a year and if you exceed the mileage I imagine you would lose any claim you made. CXC3000 10 #2 Posted December 19, 2011 What would have happened if the guy in question didn't tell the insurance company he was unemployed ? How would they find out if he was ?
 Share this content via...

In a market with at least one hundred retail outlets and thousands of Lloyds underwriters a move to a cheaper alternative is advisable and beneficial in the long-run.I would welcome the chance to leave Tescos who are devoid of ethics and bloated. iansheff 86 #6 Posted December 19, 2011 Greed and profit rule, you know that. Too true, as for finding out whether he was employed or not I would imagine it would only be if the person had a claim and they checked up on them they would find out.
