jamesogt   11 #6 Posted December 7, 2016 (edited) Been to the one at Parbold,it was good though not cheap.  I often eat them due to being away for work. £20 for 10oz rib, with all the sides + a fiver for a glass of wine I think is good value. Unlike many places where the meat costs £20+ and then you are charged £4.95 each for any sides!  M&B must like the area, they already have the POW and the Rising Sun.   Edit - In fact I won't be going at all - no pricing on their online menu.  Pricing is here for the Manchester site,  http://www.millerandcarter.co.uk/restaurants/north-west/millerandcartermanchester/mainmenu Edited December 7, 2016 by jamesogt
 Share this content via...

feederfil   10 #11 Posted April 7, 2017 Good to see a slight bit of Sheffield history with the name. Hope brewery owned by Bass used to be owned by Carter ,Miller and Bird. Bass when sold split into Mitchell and Butlers and IHC. So Mitchell and Butler reverting back to old Sheffield brewers names but no Bird. Guest   #12 Posted April 8, 2017 How good are stakes compared to La Vaca? La Vaca is excellent, but just one thing should improved. In 40 oz stake, 1/3 of stake is a heavy bone, making 40 oz stake hardly a challenge. It's better to order 2x 20 oz stake. I will definitely test this one, I liked the Toby carvery on this place
 Share this content via...
