fox20thc   10 #3 Posted July 11, 2010 On the waterfront -  July 11, 11:00am-4:30pm on Victoria Quays, Sheffield Canal Basin, a family event celebrating the sights and sounds of Sheffield’s beautiful canal basin. It’s a perfect opportunity to have some quality family time for free.  The event is all about all sorts of activities and entertainment for all the family, including, music and dance, fairground rides, den building with Activity Sheffield Play Rangers, craft market, children craft activities, woodland craft demos, British Waterways activities, water sport demos, food, Green Roof exhibition, ecology and environmental information stalls. Activities being added all the time – keep checking for updates.  The event is promoted by Groundwork and British Waterways, supported by Natural England and Quays traders.
