Human species 'may split in two'

Different human sub-species predicted by Dr Oliver Curry

Humanity may split into an elite and an underclass, says Dr Curry

Humanity may split into two sub-species in 100,000 years' time as predicted by HG Wells, an expert has said.

Evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry of the London School of Economics expects a genetic upper class and a dim-witted underclass to emerge.

The human race would peak in the year 3000, he said - before a decline due to dependence on technology.

People would become choosier about their sexual partners, causing humanity to divide into sub-species, he added.

The descendants of the genetic upper class would be tall, slim, healthy, attractive, intelligent, and creative and a far cry from the "underclass" humans who would have evolved into dim-witted, ugly, squat goblin-like creatures.

Looking at some of our Earthly residents, it looks like it is happening as we speak! Suppose we will have the old Creationist Vs Evolutionist argument (discussion) now!

Some context for this old news here and here.

From the first link:

This BBC story is one of many to have picked up these “expert predictions” as though they had merit. However, these were not predictions at all, but intentionally amusing speculations written in a short piece for a television station. As Dr. Curry put it on his website, “The Bravo Evolution Report was a brief ‘think piece’, commissioned by Bravo Television to celebrate their 21st anniversary. Writing about the future of evolution for Bravo seemed to offer a fun, ‘sci fi’ way to introduce some evolutionary principles to a popular audience.”

And then they say that the more intelligent ones will become the likes of Steve Job who actually has expanded his brain so much that he cannot cope, and his body rejects it. I am not sure it will happen that way, but what will indeed happen is that people lack empathy, and they become sadists, in an intelligent way. Cannibalism is what happens when people do not care or share, cos you become stuck in this "survival" mode.

With so much information in this world already, children are picking up ADHDs at a young age and really messing with their minds. They will become a different kind of adult already especially when empathy, and compassion is removed from their upbringing.

You can already see signs of this happening already.

That's right and people with similar views to your own seem to be the instigators

These type of theories have been popping up for decades, often put forward by people who openly or secretly believe in eugenics. But people travel a lot and have sex with all sorts of different people, so if anything people will get more 'samey' over the centuries to come (maybe a uniform light brown colour?). Humans will probably become extinct before any significant mutations can occur in the gene pool.
