UKIP and the EU

No policies-No exit strategy.

Ukip will have to negotiate a withdrawal from the European Union over many years and the party still has to work out the details of how it would secure such an exit, a leading Ukip MEP candidate in May's European elections has conceded.

Pretty obvious I would have thought, only an idiot would think a UKIP win would result in withdrawal from the EU the day after.

UKIP's problem is that their largest vote comes at the European elections which have zero influence on whether we stay in the EU or not. Farage is trying for a strategy of building from the ground up by getting councillors and MPs elected or by nicking them from the dregs wing of the Tories.

Unfortunately for them they have ended up with people like Karl Williamson in Crawley who appears to have pocketed over £500 an hour in the last year in council expenses based on his attendance at council meetings. There are allegations he spends more time in LA than in Crawley. I can't blame him if he does but he isn't doing UKIP's cause any good. But then if they take on people like this what do they expect.

And then there's UKIP councillor Peter Lagoda who has just admitted to £25,000's worth of benefit fraud along with his wife;

Whilst Labour have people like this:

We can all dig out newspaper articles that paint a less than pleasant picture of individuals within all political parties, it just seems some people on here have an obsession with UKIP.

Regards

...would vote for UKIP.

Like I have said many times, calling people idiots who vote for a political party you disagree with only strengthens their resolve.

You could go one step further and say anyone who wastes their time turning out to vote in an election in which their vote will make no difference, is a idiot

or any one of the words below. :)

The sooner we are out of the EU, the sooner we can start making this country great again.

[Only an idiot]...would vote for UKIP.

What sort of idiot would vote for Labour who held the reins during a decade of global boom and still managed to leave our nation with a £1 trillion debt when they left power?

What sort of idiot would vote for Labour who presided over a disasterous immigration policy that not only makes us poorer but resulted in social division (dressed up as diversity), which even they admit was a 'spectacular mistake'?

What sort of idiot would vote Labour who lied to parliament and the people in order to take us into an illegal war? A war that led to the death of hundreds of thousands of people, destabalised the region, wasted billions of pounds, increased support for Islamic extremist groups, led to home grown terrorist attacks, led to freedoms being attacked (to 'protect us') and then more billions spent each year trying to police and contain the mess created (made all the worse by their disasterous immigration policy)?

What sort of idiot would vote for Labour who turned the welfare system into a dependency system that took away the incentive to work, trapped people in povery and gave us a new 'chav' class... all paid for by the rest of us?

What sort of idiot would vote for Labour who had the most MP's sent to prison for expenses fraud?

Halibut, We could not doubt compile equally damning assessments of the other parties and it therefore seems like idiocy to vote for any of them. Help us wise one... who should we be voting for?

Yeah, like that's going to happen.

The second we leave the EU then we're no longer bound by their rules on waste or pollution. Companies will start dumping waste, sewage, and chemicals back into the rivers. The beaches will become filthy.

EU rules on recycling will be gone so there will be more landfill sites full of stuff that could have been recycled.

What gives you that impression, surely the elected politicians that live in the UK will care more about the UK's environment than EU politicians.
