Gas fire replacement coals

Recommended Posts

i have a Multiglow Classic 2 gas fire, purchased in 2008, the company is no longer trading and i have been told that the fire is no longer made. The coals are crumbling and the white fire cloth which the coals lay on and is about 1/2" thick is really worn. I am worried that the coals are dangerous when crumbling and soot develops on them every day. I would appreciate any help/advice as to what to do.
