sgtkate   10 #2 Posted June 9, 2017 Do you use Google maps as well? That might hold your tracking data. Open Google Maps, click the 3 lines on the top left of the screen and then go to Your Timeline. It'll depends whether you've given permission for Google Maps to monitor your location all the time or not.
 Share this content via...
notepad   10 #3 Posted June 9, 2017 I've tried that thanks.... It turns out you need to be logged into your google account or at least activate it linked to maps at the time.. Which I wasn't.  I also tried iphonebackupextractor as mentioned by glitterballs ,but got lost in there website and activated account etc but couldn't fathom it out... Got bombarded with upgrades options and found no page to recover the data.  Realy usefull to know the power of your iPhone as in my instance a speeding tickets come through for a vehicle with multiple drivers and yes the fingures been pointed at me,and I know it wasn't so raising proof.... Think I might have got somewhere with it though as through the health app which counts your footsteps, data goes back well over 12 months and shows that I was walking at the time.. It lists times down to the second you stopped and start walking.  Allthough I would still really appreciate help from anyone who can guide me to pull overwritten data from location services do I can substantiate my evidence.. How to get to that page from the springboard on your iPhone is in my first post.  I'm sure some computer/iPhone geek would love to get the bottom of how to do this,.... If it the last damm thing they do!!!.. Please help
 Share this content via...
geared   318 #4 Posted June 9, 2017 Have you made a complaint to the police that you suspect your cars numberplate has been cloned?  It's quite a common crime so it shouldn't be too much hassle to sort out.
 Share this content via...
notepad   10 #5 Posted June 9, 2017 (edited) I don't think that's the case... As the traffic camera is less than a mile from my workplace... It could be one of 5 potential drivers,Think it's more of a case it someone else passing the blame onto me.  ---------- Post added 12-06-2017 at 16:13 ----------  Quick update on this for those who were intrested in the post and a good tip should you find yourself in a simular situation.... I've been into see the cops today and proved I wasn't driving at the time as my "health app"... Showed I was walking and not driving at the time.... The data within health app history goes well back into over a year ago so gave me an idea and proof as to what I was doing at the time.... and I've been fully removed from their queries  Thanks to the poster who suggested the timeline on google maps,I've downloaded the said suggestion if for any reason in the future I need to refere to where I was at any given time.... Might not be so good for those who don't want uncovering where they were.. Lol... But hey ho.. It's worked for me on this occasion..... Never underestimate the power of an iPhone!
