RIP Sir Roger Moore

Its just been announced on Sky News that Sir Roger Moore has sadly passed away.

 

He was 89 and had been battling cancer.

 

RIP.

Always been a fan of Sir Roger Moore right from being a kid when he was on TV as Ivanhoe, and a year or two later as the Saint. Didn't see any of his Bond films as I was never a fan of the franchise. In fact the only time I saw him on the big screen was in The Wild Geese, now he has joined his co.stars of that film RIP Sir.

The bond I used to see at the cinema with my grandad. Happy memories of coming out after watching the spy who loved me and feeling invincible. Was only 10! Rip Sir Roger.

Yes he was apparently well liked among his peers. He also did a lot of work for UNICEF and PETA. A life well lived indeed.

What I remember him for was his tongue-in-cheek appearance in The Cannonball Run film. He'll always be Seymour to me.
