The Legend Known as Bradders

Use to be district auditor for C.I.S

Writes sports reports, for the local press,

His main focus is grass roots football,

This little man barely five foot tall,

In a season he will watch over a hundred matches,

Which are all recorded in the sports despatches,

Over years he has suffered with health issues,

But to take a step backwards he will flatly refuse,

He used to be a stalwart on radio Sheffield,

Won lots of awards in the football field,

Once described by a football manager as a legend,

Honoured to have Bradders as a friend,

Over the years he has become my second dad,

And there have been times he has driven me mad,

Always have an opinion, rarely back down,

If there were a king for local football, he’d wear the crown.

You might want to remove that erroneous apostrophe from 'Bradders' in the title - it doesn't belong there.
