Old shops on Kilner Way Sheffield

Recommended Posts

Can anyone remember the old shops that used to be on Kilner Way? I know there was once a Currys, Comet, MFI, Glyn Webb, Gateway Supermarket that became Somerfields, and an American Diner......

And a clothing seconds shop that was called a whole selection of things over the years but was brilliant for things like taffeta party dresses for my step daughter for a fiver if they happened to have the right size in stock.

I was administrator for Glyn Webb right at the top from when it opened in 1996 to when it closed in 2006. Loved my job.

There wasn't a Bridges electrical shop it was comet, there wasn't a Gregory and Dench or timberland on there either, at the top was Glyn Webb, next to it was bingo (still there) there was comet, Halfords, S R Gents and at one point an American Diner in Somerfields car park when I was there.
