Dog share in Sheffield?

I'd like to know if anyone is looKing for a dog share in Sheffield - I'm based in the city centre but wouldn't mind travelling. I can't have a dog of my own due to rented accom but a dog share would be a great solution to that!

I can honestly say i have never heard of a dog share!

What do you mean by share? do you mean you'd walk the pooch?

Have you looked at Borrowmydoggie or similar?

there is pawshake too, but these services seem to charge a bit

We briefly discussed a "dog share" with my retired mother in law who wanted a dog for company during the day but not the cost / constraints of dog ownership every single day - in the end we decided it might not be fair on the dog so she does a bit of dog sitting and that's it

i have dogs you can come and walk anytime you like.

You could volunteer for The Cinnamon Trust - you get to walk someone's dog whenever you want and it helps out an elderly/terminally ill person ...

Why not head out to some of the rescue centres? Loads of doggies absolutely thrilled with some human attention and walkies. It's a lot of fun
