Watford For You is organising a sponsored 1 mile walk, jog or run for those aged 45+ which takes place SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2009 at 10.30AM The gentle 1 mile route will start at the pond at the top of the town centre, go under the underpass, along Hempstead Road, left into Stratford Way, left into Cassiobury Drive and then back along the pond to finish. There will be stalls around the pond with lots of information about 45+ activities in the town, along with refreshments and special events. Watford Leisure Centre - CENTRAL will also be running special 45+ activities as part of the Everyone Active Weekend. Participants will be encouraged to raise money for the West Herts branch of the Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS).
