Sheffield Shops That Are Now Extinct !!

Recommended Posts

We all have our own memories of Yesteryear Sheffield, but which shops can you remember that are now gone forever?

I have fond memories of Suggs, where me and my old dad used to get our snooker tips from. Sad, yes.......but there must be loads of retailers that are now long gone, and we have almost forgotten they were there!!

Redgates is the one I really remember, but the ones I miss would be the cinemas and the markets.

Good old Redgates!! Used to blow a fuse as a child in that place.ToysRus has the same effect on today's youngsters, judging by the look on my grandsons face when we take him there!!
