Is it safe to disable Nero filter check at start-up?

Recommended Posts

Hiya,

I'm using CCleaner to minimise the number of programs in the startup menu. Is it safe to remove nero filter check from the startup menu? I've been trawling the web to find out what it does, but no success.

Yes you can disable it. It is a tool that checks for driver issues and attempts to resolve them. If Nero is running fine on your machine, then disable this. If you install new hardware, activate it again to check for issues.

A great site to use for deciding what to disable and what to keep is http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm
