davyboy   19 #1 Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) Can anyone tell me why every now and again when my wife tries to log onto her internet banking she gets a message saying "cookies disabled"?  I have set cookies enabled each time and have to restart the iPad for it to take effect. Which of the alternative settings is best? Edited May 24, 2017 by davyboy
 Share this content via...
sgtkate   10 #2 Posted May 24, 2017 Are you going into Settings > Safari > Block Cookies? Mine is set to Allow from Website I Visit and I've not noticed any problems. Is it just that one site that is causing problems like that? I don't know why you need to restart the whole iPad though, you should be able to double click the home button to bring up the app switching panel and then close Safari, when you next open Safari those settings should be used. davyboy   19 #3 Posted May 24, 2017 Yes it's just that one banking site. I tried another site and logged in OK I go into safari, allow all then click the home button perhaps I should click twice. I have now set cookies to allow site that I visit. Let's see how it goes. Thanks  ---------- Post added 24-05-2017 at 14:33 ----------  Yes it's just that one banking site.
