Interesting Comodo popup advert at weekend

Recommended Posts

Just thought I would share with you the Comodo advert that popped up (running Comodo Internet Security 10 - free version) - No WannaCry worm if you have Comodo installed - and to share with others.

So there you have it. I have shared. ;)

No doubt the other AV software out there will do the same job. It just appears that Comoros is the only one capable of stopping the infection. Anyone else had similar notices from their AV? ;)

Antivirus - the legalised protection racket !

Why? - I don't pay for it, and although mine has not thrown a warning up in memory, you never know when it might.

Yesterday there was a Kaspersky anti-virus pop up referring to this blog about WannaCry. They say that the user doesn't have to do anything for WannaCry to get onto the system. There is advice about avoiding it etc and Kaspersky users are advised to ensure that System Watcher is switched on. This can be found in a Settings>Protection.
