The English Premier league is well watched here in Scotland
but i think money has spoiled it with players now making far to much
i preferred football in the late 60s , 70s , 80s and yes top class players them days

along with names mentioned above there were others inc Bobby Charlton
Jimmy (jinky) Johnstone , Bobby Murdoch , Bobby Lennox
whom i know played for Celtic here in Celtics best days the 60s

But also were many other top players some today Gerrard another v gd player
though maybe his better days soon shall be behind him getting ?

Giggs was another top class player for both Man U and Wales
whom has lasted a long time playing the game at the top level

Dalglish i seen scoring the only goal for Celtic away to Aberdeen
i won the tote on the bus that very day in the 70s before he went to Liverpool

Graeme Souness and Gordon Strachan and although i aint fans of them
both -- >Alan Hansen and Gary Lineker

Ian Rush , Michael Owen when in his prime ,
Alan Shearer wasnt to bad a striker in his day
although he went to Rangers ill say Gazza was another .

No doubt that there is lot of money in football that have spoiled the players but the receive the their reward by playing their games of sports . On the other hand, Players in the past had very good impact on this game . I would say Gibbs was one of the best players of his time .
