CCTV recommendations and advice - No advertising/jobs/quotes

Recommended Posts

I've just bought a Nest cam outdoor as my car was recently broken into. Super easy to install and no wiring (other than the power cable).

Provided you have reliable WiFi in range then this is a decent solution, the £8 pm charge to access the full functionality is a little steep, but what price can you put on safety hey....?

Go to H Harrold and sons Shalesmoor and look at the CCTV kit they have in stock. Don't bother with any Maplin or Costco kits.

hi

can anyone recommend a cctv specialist to come out and do a quote?

Over the end of last week have had 2 precious bikes and tools stolen.

Ideally want to get something sorted asap.

I also need someone to make repairs to a security gate etc..

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Does anyone have a contact number for a CCTV engineer please. I've got one of those cameras that you can access via your mobile phone. It has, however, decided to play up just giving me a blank screen showing only time and date. No robbers etc. Any help would be appreciated. Based in Millhouses.

Cheers

Oliver

Sounds like a faulty camera ...or it's been covered up if you can see time and date on the app ....is it just an ip camera or does it have a Dvr/nvr recorder ? Power down the camera and re power for a start

Does anyone have cctv installed? If so how much does it cost to run? Is it a good deterrent for burglars?

Yes.....next to nothing ....probably .

First decent physical security , locks, gate make sure you lock them

Second. Alarm system , set it

Third cctv. Ok as a confirmation to the above
