Oh it’s Election Time Again!

With election campaigns building momentum,

Any other news now hardly gets a mention,

Likened to characters from rainbow, the leaders of their parties,

Geoffrey, George, Bungle and not forgetting Zippy,

Their false promises making headline news,

Reporters being judgemental with their political views,

Like the Grand National they are off and running,

But those obstacles really need jumping,

Opinions widespread over immigration,

Theories on how to sort the NHS desperation,

Manifesto pledges like you have never heard before,

The prize being able to stand outside that Downing Street door,

Where the victor will thank the public and the deals will begin,

Just who will sell their sole to form a Coalition?

Then this vision by those aiming to make this Nation great,

Will disappear faster than sheep in a field without a gate.
