right 1st off my copy is an ORIGINAL NOT A PIRATE,seems like i have got friends where you don't,so sit be patient and you will get yours.seems to me that myself and denomis have a mutal friend will send you a friend request mate.and just for the record M/S are only banning people for playing pirated versions of the game not AN ORIGINAL like my copy,so no ban for me!!!

I ordered mine from game. The distribution company are holding them back.
I know game companies send them early sometimes, like a few days, which has happened to me many a time. However they have been strict on this release so i dont think the people who have got it early have got it from a big chain store. Maybe they know someone (wink wink) or an independent store has sold it early. Like castle games used to.
I only have 1 person on my friends list who has it. I asked him how and he was snotty and wouldnt tell me. Now im not been funnyt but if he has it early n plays it its obvious people are going to ask him how he got it isnt it. :/
Its like everything in life, some people get stuff early. I had eyepet 2 days before release cos game sent it early. It just happens like that.
But I have seen on official forums that although they arent banning people for original copies they are deleting ranking histories on launch date so people cant go ahead of others.
i can honestly say i got mine from tesco direct.i pre-ordered it on moday.the recieved an email wednesday tea time saying it had been dispatched.i was confused at this as i thought i wouldnt be recieving it till next week.went shopping yesterday and it was on the doormat when i came home.made my son very happy.

I've cancelled my order with Play.com after todays news stories and managed to go out and buy it today. Off to play it now!
Where did you get it from......ive got mine ordered from play.com....we have recieved an email saying that play are now using couriers to fight the royal mail strikes.
if they do what they did with the last modern warfare then dlc is a load of garbage, they released 3 maps after nearly a year and even then the maps were designed by normal people because they held a competition and the best 3 got chosen, more dlc this time hopefully.

1 games are reasonably priced you go to the cinema pay tickets popcorn drinks whatever your looking at £15-20 for 2 hours i payed £42 for mwf2 and ive been playing allready for 22 hours so up to now its around £2 an hour with many more hours to come
2 games nowadays cost in excess of 50 million to produce so they have to make this back + profit not like back in the amiga days when games sold for a tenner but cost peanuts to make
3 dlc can be a rip off but no one makes you buy it ive never bought a map in my life only dlc i ever bought was for fable 2 which was cheap and good value
when it comes down to it if you dont like it or cant afford it then dont buy the games take up a free hobby like train spotting you can buy a pen and pad for under a pound
Got last level togo now, very short single player only bout 3hrs play in total.
Stop playing it on easy? Everyone whined about COD4 being 4-5 hours, but if you played it on veteran (where all the achievements are, anyway), it's a) much better, b) much more fun and rewarding, and c) isn't being done by anyone who isn't Jesus in any less than 12-15 hours. Took me 20 at least. If you can clear a room of enemies in 30 seconds and don't need to strategise or use cover then of course it's not going to take very long.
Getting through All Ghillied Up without being spotted on veteran on my first attempt was one of the most exhilirating moments I've ever had in my long time as a gamer.

apparently in MW2 enemies dont constantly respawn until youve passed a certain point, so you could effectively sit back, pick them all off then proceed forward with ease, im not 100% though as i havent played it but thats what a mate has told me. so cant seeing it being as hard as the first one
