charliewag   19 #1 Posted July 3, 2015 My son has been working for a company through an agency for a short while. The company have now offered him a permanent job but the agency have said he has to work through them for a further seven weeks effectively giving them seven weeks notice. Are they allowed to do this as I have worked for agencies in the past and have never had to work any notice when i've found other employment? Was he given a contract copy? if he was not given a copy or a contract to sign there is no contractual obligation to serve notice.
