RiffRaff   10 #1 Posted November 23, 2015 I go in the kitchen, and he's there. I go to the shed, he follows. I wander around the garden, and he's within a yard of me. I go to the bathroom, and he muscles his way in. I sit on the settee, and he lies at/on my feet. In short, wherever I am to be found, he is too. With one exception....the cellar. He stands at the top, staring down across the 7-or-so steps. My two previous dogs did exactly the same. The steps and cellar are well lit : concrete steps, true, but so are the ones into the garden, and he/they had no problem with them. At times, I've tried tempting them down with offers of chews and biscuits, but no....no further than the entrance/top step. I wonder why?! Bottletop   10 #2 Posted November 23, 2015 They can probably smell the decaying human remains buried under your cellar floor and then cemented over the top. I wouldn't want to go near your cellar either if I had such a powerful nose!  How long have you lived in your house!?
 Share this content via...
