Internet picture scam ?

Sounds like a right old scam, unless they left a British address and can prove they hold the copyright for that picture and can enforce that over here than just sack them off.

From the other side of the story. One of my copyrighted images is being used without permission or payment on a Greek travel site and a Russian sailing site. I've sent correspondence asking them to remove it or make payment.

 

They've done neither.

If people didnt want their images / pictures copied and used they shouldnt put them onto the tinterweb . common sense tells you that anything online is fair game to be copied / downloaded / edited .
