Voluntary work/ work experience

My daughter is almost 17 and is wanting voluntary work or work experience placement to help her with her university application, she is currently doing her a levels,and is wanting to get on the midwifery course, so ideally work in a hospital setting so she can gain some clinical experience,has anyone got any suggestions ? Thanks

If hospital's have restrictions on under 18's doing volunteering you could try places such as children's centres or nurseries. Alternatively you could go to the opposite end of the age range and look at nursing / residential homes

My sister did a nursing degree many years ago, at the same age she volunteered at St Lukes hospice. Might be worth a try?
