Insignificant things that annoy you

Inspired by two threads complaining about, in my opinion, trivial matters that don't matter a great deal in the grand scheme of things. I thought I would create a moan thread about the silly little things in life that really annoy you which you know that shouldnt.

So, what annoys you to the point of having a good old moan? Spill the beans

you know when you pick up the tv mag and start looking whats on tv....and then realise its on the days before page...arhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

People eating in the streets, with those hamburgers stuck into paper bags, and the paper flapping about. Cant explain it but it gets up my goat !!

Grammatical and spelling errors -- OK, so I'm a pedant (see that thread)

But I'm sorry for Lady Jayne, who has been stationary in a nearby store for six months.

If "he gave the book to Jim and I", then if Jim stayed home "he gave the book to I"?

Or should it be "he gave the book to WE"? (OK, that's normal Black Country dialect).

Consider the difference between "She likes you better than me" (insert "she does" between THAN and ME), and "She likes you better than I (like you)"

Why be sloppy with language?

not just the noises from their mouths but the scraping of every last bit of food from the bowl or pot
