There's no viewfinder, it doesn't record your speed, GPS location, you can't save/delete/replay files on the go, you can't directly upload to the internet via 3G.  The cheaper and better option is to use a good smartphone app or buy a dedicated dashcam. The current crop of cheap chinese ones these days blow it into the water - they have got so good so fast it's very impressive - you could get four of them for each side of the car, with a memory card, and still only pay half of what I did for just one camera...
