This is a story based around the fictional events, which would later escalate into the Sheffield Gang Wars, and the subsequent control of the lucrative Sky Edge gambling rings in the city, during World War One.  The story involves the friendship developed between a young Samuel Garvin and William Francis, at having to endure the horror of the Western Front, and of their subsequent return to Sheffield.  The later struggle between Garvin and George Mooney is well documented within the history of the city, as this story highlights the effect of the Great War within the city, and of its consequences for the control of Sky Edge Edited March 18, 2017 by boston title Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
