Used to enjoy his sarcasm about the films he disliked. Sadly Jonathan Ross or Claudia Winkleman aren't as good as Barry, simply because of his encyclopedic knowledge of film - they seem like empty vessels in comparison. But Mark Kermode is very good.

Incidentally his Dad, Leslie Norman directed a little known film that I really enjoyed called 'The Night My Number Came Up'. Worth seeking out.
