Expect beautiful ballads right through to burning Be-Bop; meaningful Mainstream to mad Modal; furious Funk to the frightfully Free; lively Latin to luscious Lounge; and classic Cool through to the curiously Contemporary!  8.30pm, free entry.  Wednesday 5th July: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize.  £30 + more to be won!  Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner.  9pm, 50p entry  Thursday 6th July: Jam Night Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield.  Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more.  Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry  Friday 7th July: Local Heroes A brand new Sheffield band for you, comprised of some old and new faces. The legendary Harris Nixon alongside Julian Widdop, Steve Walker and Will Bateman are here to play. Considering the preview we had last Thursday, you're in for a real treat of rock.  9.30pm, free entry  Saturday 8th July: Resurrection One of the mightiest (and friendliest) rock bands on the circuit, we love having these lads play at The White. Covering everything from AC/DC to Metallica to some unexpected classics, it's a guaranteed great gig.  9.30pm, free entry  Sunday 9th July: The Sunday Jam The Sunday afternoon rock jam is here once again - 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
