Its in the Star ,whats up.

Recommended Posts

Most days of late on the letters page in our local paper the Star there are more and more letters written by Unitedites telling all and sundry what an awful club our Owls are while at the same time stating what a wonderful family club there own little Utopia is.

The current league status and recent events show this to be a load of codswallop but !!! day after day the letters keep appearing .

Todays bright sparks include comments about our band withe the heading being Silly little band:hihi:, the next column comes up with "What a shame" and states that we are going no where while at the same time the Blades are far superior on and off the pitch.

Our ground also gets a slagging off as well as other petty little put downs .

The letters page is now getting to daft to read .

Me thinks they protest to much:help:

They seem to have spent so long in L1 they've developed little man syndrome. They're full of praise for everybody including the chairman who they all hated prior to this season.

Let see how quickly the tide turns if next season becomes a struggle.

For some ,'next season' didn't even need to become a struggle and the tide turned, for 30% of them allegedly anyway.:hihi:

A small minority questioned the manager, not sure where they've been for the previous 15 seasons, incidentally Brightons fans were also up in arms at one stage of the season (early in the new year) and striker Glenn Murray had to appeal for calm - puts in a bit of perspective.

The Sheffield Star, tomorrows chip paper!

I wouldn't be surprised if the letters aren't made up for reaction and anyway, who actually cares?

The same paper that were giving us unitedites 6 reasons as to why we should support Wednesday in the play-offs.

The Star is on it's backside and on it's way out. All it does these days is stir the pot between Blades and Owls because that is the only way it can sell any copies and clicks.
