JtotheC Â Â 10 #1 Posted July 30, 2014 Hoyland Harriers are offering the chance for young people to try a free session of Go-Fence throughout the summer holidays. Â Go-Fence is a lighter version of foil fencing and is ideal for people wanting to try the sport of fencing or for younger children looking to try out a new sport. Â We have successfully delivered our programmes across schools in South Yorkshire to over a thousand primary school children. Â We provide everything you need so all you need is suitable clothing, a drink and appropriate footwear. Â For those that want to, we offer the British Fencing Go-Fence awards scheme for members to work through badges from Bronze through to Gold, or just come along and fence socially. Â We run the club every Wednesday from 5.15 to 6.15 at Rockingham Community Centre, Sheffield Road, Hoyland Common, S74 1DQ, but please call Jon on 07706 899176 to book a free trial place.
