The Right to Buy project..

We can now discern the penultimate instalment of the conservatives' Right to Buy project for public sector housing. Ordinary people were encouraged to gain property so that they have something that can be taken from them, an investment they can be relieved of!

The tories do not want the families of ordinary people inheriting property, prospering, becoming mortgage free. They want ordinary people to have just sufficient by way of assets to cover the social care bills.

The right to buy is nothing new but like you say they don't bring in policies like this without a reason.

There are/will be other options, one being selling and then renting a smaller property.

Ordinary people don't have any money. This is due to the precarious, low-wage economy carefully structured by the tory party, a project that was initiated in 1979 when they commenced their class war.

I really don't know why people still think it's between Tory and Labour, Capitalism or Communism, etc.

Millions bought council houses, it allowed poorer people to buy their own home. There are not enough council houses being built, for people to buy.
