richford 10 #1 Posted January 2, 2017 Last year BowieFest took place on 9th January; The day after Bowie's 69th birthday. We celebrated the man, his music and the release of his brand new album '★'. The next morning, with the live interpretations of his music still ringing in our ears, it was announced that David Bowie had died. It was surreal. On 7th January 2017 BowieFest returns. The day before what would have been his 70th birthday. Featuring an extended set by The Bowie Contingent and supported by a selection of special guest performers, BowieFest will give us an opportunity to celebrate his music, his influence and his legacy. Since 2004 BowieFest has always been a rather special celebration of the man and his music and January's event is no exception.....Nothing has changed. Everything has changed.
