according to the York Herald 24th July 1852 he got 6 months for unlawfully wounding . On the 1851 census he is in York prison for debt

 

Yes thank you lobster we are aware and, as I said in a previous post, he had a troubled life but we are searching for his death details which have not yet been found.

Yes this is the person thank you. I have marriage information but am unable to locate his place or year of death. I will pm you with further information later.

According to the baptism record he was John Richardson Webster baptized 1814 . there is a record of John Webster b 1814 died 1885 Leeds

Many thanks retep. Very impressive! Not sure why we had difficulty except that it was my fault for not looking properly and instead relying on others who informed me he couldn't be found. I'm very grateful!
