The Great Wall of Trump.

Ask Hungary. Since the construction of a fence between Hungary and Croatia at the height of the EU migrant crisis, migrants attempting to get into the country dropped from 138,000 a month to 15.

You're not comparing like with like. The 2015 crisis was caused by refugees. Mexicans are not refugees fleeing a warzone but economic migrants looking for work. And they don't walk across borders. They travel legitimately and go through passport and visa controls. They just don't return when they should.

You forget that it isn't just Mexicans that travel across the US-Mexico border. It's potentially anyone from South America, as the southern border with Mexico has virtually no control at all.

In your opinion , to many he is doing something what should have been done a long time ago.

Including protectionism?

Has it escaped your attention that your Brexit heroes like Farage have a policy that is the exact opposite, that being unrestricted free trade.

Ooooops :P

Let me guess, his tiny hands and overt racism really turn you on.

Or maybe you have a thing for congenital liars with a sideline in sexual assault.

Trump's vision of walled borders has inspired me to think about building a wall around Sheffield it will be a thing to mavel at thousands will come far and wide to admirer it. Their will no exits as no one will be allowed to enter, it will take many decades to build and the pennies will be tight. It will become an one man's folly a bit like Trump's policies and his wall.

if it keeps the stuck-up Chesterfieldian snobs out of the Great City of Sheffield, then yes, build baby build.

The Council Coffers should be overflowing with Council Tax payments by now. After all, t'council haven't wasted £tens of millions on a white elephant scheme for several weeks.

That has more to do with the deal with Turkey to keep refugees there. Its dropped off for everyone as a result. You also have the fact they have alternative routes through other countries, whereas the US is 2000 miles long and a completely different prospect.
