Best place for veg plants

I've decided to try growing my own veg , looking for lettuce , rocket , cucumber I'm still making my list . Everywhere seems so expensive so I may be looking in the wrong places . I can't find any allotment plant sales happening anytime soon either . Has anyone any ideas please ☺️

Hi! Try the allotment shops, I'm pretty sure that the one on Morley Street in walkley still has plants for sale and they will be cheap as they're donated by plot holders. Also try Hagg Lane shop. You will have to become a member which you do whilst there and it's usually only a couple of pounds for the year.
