That song always makes me cringe, I don't know why.

I think that's probably because the lyrics are just a bit embarrassing and crap - they're well-meant, but do come over a bit naive and over-earnest today. When it was first released, I don't think we were all quite as sophisticated (or cynical?) as we are now, so it worked better.

But it's a cracking tune
