Family Tree research at Library?

I am sure you used to be able to access the Ancestry.co.uk resources for family tree research at the library - but our local library doesn't seem to know anything about it

Anyone know if /what you can access (without paying for a full subscription again)

I think the libraries are using a different ancestry search engine now.If you ring Gleadless library they may be able to tell you which because they have an ancestry session there.

They now have a subscription to Findmypast, and also to the British Newspaper Archive. I used both at our local library last week.
