Caravan sites abroad?

Keeping a static caravan on a site in this country seems to be getting rather expensive. £3,000 - £4,000 pa is not unusual.

Has anyone on here got any info on what it costs to keep a caravan on a site abroad? Preferably Northern France, but any information about anywhere warm would be helpful. Is it any cheaper?
