Pigeons are they in every country

Is there any country were there isn't any pigeons they seem to be world wide unless you know a pidgeon free country

Not that many here and the further north you get the fewer there are ..but still they are not called flying rats for nothing ...where there are people there is vermin.

I'm sure pre 2000 there were hardly any in most town centres .. back in the day trafalgar square was the only place synonymous with pigeons. Ironically they are no where to be seen there thesedays., unless they've all migrated to Moor and fargate??

The city centre in Sheffield was full of pigeons in the 1950's when it was seen how the buildings were being damaged by droppings as well as the public health hazard of so many birds buildings began to be protected first by one method then another today netting is the protection method of choice.

I would guess that there may not be any in areas of the globe that has extreme temperatures, such as deserts even though there are other creatures there. Also, the extreme cold areas - arcitc/antartic.
