Upperthorpe is a big area so if you can tell us which streets we might be able to be more specific in our advice. Also if you use the search facility you'll see the area has been mentioned before. max   13 #4 Posted January 20, 2004 There is a Healthy Living Centre opening at Upperthorpe soon. It's at the foot of Daniel Hill and its web site is here:  Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre  It's based around the library and swimming baths and will no doubt lead to increased house prices in the area.  I'd suggest that Upperthorpe Road and Daniel Hill would be preferable to Addy Street. Also try looking at Westmoreland, Yeomans and Cumberland just up Daniel Hill. They're old style terraces but I think with the centre opening soon the prices may start going up there too.
