You need to decide if you need residential or nursing. You also need to decide if you want private run home or a council one. You also need to go and view them. I would say go unannounced because then you can get a better view and feel for the place

It depends what type of care he needs. Try and get his care evaluated with a care home and they will advise you on what he will need and where would be best for him. i am a care assistant so i see people looking all the time. Good luck.
