Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a local SEO company to Sheffield.
My company is a 24/7 locksmith company and obviously it's a saturated market on Google.
I'm wanting to spend less time doing SEO things and more time doing actual locksmithing.
Google ads is a no go as my budget won't allow it and I've heard the bigger locksmith companies just click your ads to use up your allowance😵

Any sensible and constructive recommendations will be very appreciated.

This is your dilemma. SEO takes time and time costs time or money; there isn't any other way of getting round it. BTW Google know if 'bigger companies' are 'click bombing' so do not worry about that.

Buy yourself the latest version of 'SEO for Dummies'...it will cost about 25.00 but will help you work out the best way forward.

All the best in your business.

Seo can be done your self but it may be worth getting an expert, because you can accidentally damge your position, doe to the fact that google is very careful these days.

You guys are all battering on the same dead end.

If you type in your target phrases into google - what comes up?

For competitive localised phrases (2-4 words) like you are probably targeting, I would guess a map and a load of ads.

Organic results probably will be towards the bottom of the first page if they are on it at all, which means you are competing against the big guys.

What about an alternative long way round - How about a long tail keyword blog.

Much more low hanging fruit there

"How long do double glazed windows last"
"Can an XYZ lock be repaired" etc etc

Good luck - this sounds like a very competitive, price sensitive line of work

edit - the videos on your site are good but the crime reports etc should be on your real estate rather than facebook.
