osrit   10 #2 Posted July 4, 2013 Went in half hour ago. Pretty busy too. They have made pretty good use of the old co-op floorspace, just about every inch has been used (all way upto the front door more or less). Back end has stuff like table, chairs, cupboards, rows of paint, wallpaper etc. Further in is all your food and household shopping stuff. Electricals and allsorts. Quite a large range overall in each area. Will go back in for a better view another time as was only rushing around to see what it was like. R.Majewski   10 #3 Posted July 4, 2013 Brings the area down - i'm boycotting it. Should have been a mini sainsburys/m&s   Hillsborough has so much going for it - lovely park, transport links cannot be beaten, 10 minutes from the Peak District, really nice quiet roads. Just needs a decent secondary school, a real ale pub and to not keep lets crap stores like this open.  File next to Heron frozen foods :/
 Share this content via...

Mecky   10 #5 Posted July 4, 2013 Thought there was one already in the precinct where the supermarket used to be?  I reckon a furniture store selling cheap furniture would do ok in Hillsborough, you know the British Heart Foundation stores, that sort of thing. Â I doubt it would have been popular in the area, i'm sure that they would have bought the building had it been viable.
 Share this content via...

geared   319 #12 Posted July 4, 2013 Thought there was one already in the precinct where the supermarket used to be?  There's a home bargains inside the precinct and a Wilkinsons outside if thats what you're thinking of?  Either way a BM is way better than another bookies or payday loan shop.
