Skink 10 #1 Posted May 5, 2016 looking for a sensibly priced site, in the school hols (yeah right), somewhere near the coast if poss - pretty much everywhere I have approached is caravans only - its almost like they dont want tents . . . we did find one site (Budle Bay campsite) which quoted its peak rate at £22 on their website. But when we went to book it was £28 plus another +£2 for our (little) canvas 4 man tent, +£8 for our 2 children, +£2 if we want a wind break etc etc Really dont like sites that charge for every item anyhow, but for £40 a night we might as well use airbnb
 Share this content via...
Becky B 31 #2 Posted May 5, 2016 There's a camping and caravan club site between Beadnell and Seahouses I think, right on the coast. I know of a couple of others but they're further from the sea.
 Share this content via...

Skink 10 #4 Posted May 6, 2016 thanks folks, wonder why these didnt crop up in my google maps search Springhill looks nice, will do some more research there - no quiet time mentioned on the website, but there is a request for large groups to book early so they can be together - in our experience that means a rowdy site - and we like peace Waren Home wanted £238 for 7 nights but again looks nice
 Share this content via...
