When I used to get home from S.A.M. (motorbike club) on a Friday night my parents would be watching the end of Soap. Ever week I'd ask why they were watching that rubbish. The first time there wasn't a club meeting I sat & watched it with them, & after that I always made sure I was home in time to watch it - a very funny series.
Another series I'd really have liked to see more of is Surface.
I remember a great programme from, I think 1969, called Inheritance. It starred James Bolam and John Thaw. I think it was also that programme which used the phrase 'trouble at t' mill'. I also loved 'Danger UXB' in the 1980s. I wish they would bring these back
Would love to have Frazier and Boston Legal back and I loved The High Chaparral, but most of all I miss 24, I don't know how I will ever get over loosing Jack Bauer
Which TV series would you like to bring back or resume?
I don't have Sky but was watching it on holiday and was wishing Gold was on Freeview, I enjoyed seeing past episodes of The Brittas Empire and wondered what Mike Burns who played Colin was doing now as he was so amusing
I never watched it when it was on TV, but have recently sat through the whole series on LoveFilm.
Sheldon Cooper is spot on about it.
