Recommended Posts

Due to recent burglaries at the Norfolk Park student area and the Ecclesall road area, has anyone been a victim of a break in in the past few days?

Student areas have always been targets for burglaries Mainly because of the amount of laptops iPads and mobile phones within the properties. Also students are well known for leaving doors and windows unlocked.!

It's the warmer weather - windows and doors get left open for extended periods of time

the experts in this type of theft prefer day time as its classed as a lower case if its day time for some reason, but most are just chancers and people needing to feed there addictions, but either wayit a horrid crime.

I remember reading a statistic somewhere that the vast majority of acquisitive crime (fraud, muggings, burglaries, shoplifting) is committed by individuals struggling with addiction.
