With it looking like the blades could be promoted and the owls looking dishevelled.

Would the championship be better with both Sheffield teams in it?

Plus Barnsley although it looks like our Millers friends wont be there.

Its not as though the blades should be a threat to the wealthy owls should it?

Or could they?

I was told from a source in football yesterday that Wednesday were paying Jordan Rhodes £45k a week. Don't think we can compete with that no matter how many bog rolls the prince sells.

That sounds interesting, good luck with that. Didn't know you were in IT, what do you specialise in, if anything?

nowt as such, just a hobby really, since the days of the zx spectrum, repairing, fiddling around with pcs when friends or family need it, done a few low key courses but not experienced or qualified as such.

Now the science bits more what ive been doing in a work environment for the past 8/9 years, analysing working chemical baths so should be in with a decent shout. trouble is never worked anywhere near a school let alone in one lol

I guess that it might happen, but then again, it might not. Wednesday have a good chance of making the play-offs and then who knows what will happen.

I think that the Blades are in for a shock if they manage to avoid implosion this time. The Championship is very tough now, much more so than the last time they competed at a level above the pub league. A lot has happened since 2011.

Blades fans need to start hoping that the Prince is real and that he is willing to splash a bit of cash, otherwise it could be a long hard season for them.

It will be interesting to see if McCabe will look to bring in new investors in the Blades if promotion is confirmed in the next few weeks.

Championship level will make the Blades a lot more attractive to potential investors, simply because it is the last stopping off point to the PL,as we have seen with a lot of clubs already at that level, but even before a ball is kicked, the Blades will be ahead of a few teams in that division as an investment project because of the potential and structure of the club.

Who owns the ground?

Potential investors? I thought Prince 'Long Pockets' was going to pony up when promotion was achieved, 'game changing investment' and all that!

The more people that ride the train, the more money is going to be invested in the journey.Whatever the Prince decides to do,the fact is that as a Championship club, the Blades will be a better investment than as a L1 club,to anybody that is interested.

Presumably, a new investor would have to buy in like the Prince did.

That will be another quid for you lot:)

Well,if we do find out what it's like to have 2 Sheffield teams in the Championship next season,i'm sure the Prince will think himself lucky that he's only paid a quid to get in there, compared to millions that some have had to invest to get in.
