Anyone on the forum live here during the 1940s-1950s.

My great aunt did. But I can't remember her name! I'll ask around relatives but don't hold your breath because the ones that will remember are al in their 80's and not the fleetest of minds. I know she lived on the left hand side as you went up the hill and her house was to the left of the entry as you looked from the road. I think she was a carriage cleaner for the LMS and British Railways for the period in question and she worked with one of her neighbours in the same job.

Lived in the prefabs on Algar place 1946-52 at the top end of Algar Rd, just past Northern Avenue ..
