daydreamblvr   10 #1 Posted February 18, 2008 I am really keen to offer short/medium/long term foster care for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils etc. I am registered with the RSPCA but luckily for them but unluckily for me they have enough foster carers for the small furries.  We have a large garden with ample space at the bottom although I dont have hutches/runs etc.  Just wondering if anyone else knew of any animal charities requiring foster carers? Cost of food/vet bills reimbursed would be appreciated though I can go halfway on this and it be great if bunny/guinea pig accomodation was provided  thanks in advance
 Share this content via...
Gemima   10 #2 Posted February 18, 2008 You could try Thornberry Animal Sanctuary at North Anston as they have smalll furries but only rehome rabbits, so they have to find fosters for smaller rodents. 01909 564399  Or contact Sooz22 on here, she is a rabbit rescue and may need some help. holidayhutch   10 #4 Posted February 18, 2008 Try Sooz or BARC, the latter was looking for experienced people to bond rabbits into pairs for them
 Share this content via...

princess22   10 #7 Posted July 13, 2017 Hi,  I know this is really late, and I'm not sure if you're still interested.  I have 3 bunnies I need fostering for a year only. I'm willing to pay for the cost of the food, veterinary treatment e.t.c I will explain the full situation if you're interested. I really don't want to have to give them up but it seems like very soon that will be the only option and it's heart breaking as I have had two of my rabbits for 5 years.  Please get back to me if you can, I can't private message you as it won't let me.  I am really keen to offer short/medium/long term foster care for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils etc. I am registered with the RSPCA but luckily for them but unluckily for me they have enough foster carers for the small furries. We have a large garden with ample space at the bottom although I dont have hutches/runs etc.  Just wondering if anyone else knew of any animal charities requiring foster carers?
